Copying and Pasting Files or Folders:
Select the File or Folder:
Navigate to the file or folder you want to copy.
Click once on the file or folder to select it.
Copy the File or Folder:
Right-click on the selected item.
From the context menu that appears, choose "Copy."
Navigate to the Destination:
Go to the location where you want to paste the copied item.
Paste the File or Folder:
Right-click in the destination folder.
From the context menu, choose "Paste."
Transferring Files or Folders:
Transferring files or folders involves copying them to a new location and then deleting the original copy. You can follow the steps for copying and pasting mentioned above, and after pasting, you can delete the original file or folder.
Renaming Files or Folders:
Select the File or Folder:
Navigate to the file or folder you want to rename.
Click once on the item to select it.
Rename the File or Folder:
Right-click on the selected item.
From the context menu, choose "Rename."
Alternatively, you can click once on the file or folder name and then click again (slow double-click) on the name to enter edit mode.
Enter the New Name:
Type the new name for the file or folder.
Press "Enter" to save the new name.
Deleting Files or Folders:
Select the File or Folder:
Navigate to the file or folder you want to delete.
Click once on the item to select it.
Delete the File or Folder:
Right-click on the selected item.
From the context menu, choose "Delete."
Windows will typically ask you to confirm the deletion. Confirm by clicking "Yes" or "OK."
Permanently Delete (Shift+Delete):
To bypass the Recycle Bin and permanently delete a file, select the file and then press "Shift + Delete" on your keyboard. Be cautious with this action, as it cannot be undone.
