1. Merge & Center:
Select Cells: Click and drag to select the cells you want to merge and center.
Merge & Center Button: Locate the "Merge & Center" button on the Home tab in the Alignment group. It looks like several cells merging into one with text centered.
Choose Option:
Click the drop-down arrow next to the button to see different options:
Merge & Center: Merges the selected cells into one and centers the text both horizontally and vertically.
Merge Across: Merges cells row-wise but not column-wise.
Merge Cells: Merges cells into one but does not center the text.
Unmerge Cells: Reverts merged cells back to their original state.
2. Wrap Text:
Select Cells: Choose the cells where you want to apply text wrapping.
Wrap Text Button: Find the "Wrap Text" button on the Home tab in the Alignment group. It looks like a text box with a line break symbol.
Click Button: Click on the "Wrap Text" button.
Result: Text within the selected cells will wrap to fit within the cell boundaries, and the row height will adjust accordingly to display the entire text.
3. Border:
Select Cells: First, select the cells or range of cells to which you want to add borders.
Border Button: On the Home tab, in the Font group, you will find the "Border" button. Click it to open a drop-down menu with various border options.
Choose Border Style: You can select from options like "All Borders," "Outline," "Inside," or even customize specific border sides (Top, Bottom, Left, Right) as needed.
Apply Border: Click on the desired border style, and it will be applied to the selected cells.
Customize Borders: To customize borders further, you can use the "More Borders" option at the bottom of the drop-down menu. Here, you can specify line styles, colors, and border placement.
