How to do photocopy
Prepare the Document: Ensure that the document you want to photocopy is ready and in good condition. Remove any staples, paper clips, or any other obstructions that may hinder the photocopying process.
Check the Photocopier: Make sure the photocopier is in working order. Check for any error messages or paper jams and address them if necessary. Ensure there is enough paper and toner or ink.
Place the Document: Open the photocopier lid or document feeder, depending on the machine's design. Carefully place the document face down on the glass or into the feeder, aligning it neatly.
Set the Copy Settings: Depending on the specific requirements, set the photocopy settings such as the number of copies, color or black and white, paper size, and quality (e.g., draft, normal, or high-quality).
Preview (Optional): Some photocopiers have a preview option that allows you to see how the copies will turn out. If available, use this to ensure the settings are correct.
Start the Photocopying: Press the 'Start' or 'Copy' button on the photocopier to begin the process. If it's a multi-function machine, select the copy function.
Collect Your Copies: Once the photocopier finishes copying, carefully retrieve your copies. Be cautious of any hot components.
Check Quality: Examine the copied documents to ensure they meet your quality standards. If not, make adjustments to the settings and try again.
Close the Photocopier: Close the lid or document feeder and return any settings to their default positions if necessary.
Turn Off or Standby: If you're the last user, consider turning off the photocopier to save energy. Otherwise, leave it in standby mode.
Maintenance: If you notice any issues with the photocopier during or after use, report them to the appropriate personnel for maintenance or repair.
