Scanning Using Scanner Hardware:

• Prepare the Document: Ensure that the document you want to scan is ready and in good condition. Remove any staples, paper clips, or any other obstructions.

• Turn On the Scanner: Switch on the scanner hardware and ensure it is properly connected to your computer.

• Place the Document: Open the scanner lid and place the document face down on the glass scanner bed. Ensure it is aligned neatly.

• Set Scan Preferences: Open the scanner software on your computer. Select the appropriate settings such as scan type (color, grayscale, or black and white), resolution (usually measured in DPI), and file format (PDF, JPEG, etc.).

• Preview (Optional): Most scanning software offers a preview option. Use this to see how the scanned document will appear. Adjust settings if needed.

• Start Scanning: Click the "Scan" button in the scanning software. The scanner will capture the image or document based on your settings.

• Save the Scan: After scanning is complete, you'll be prompted to save the scanned document. Choose a location and file name and save it in your desired format.

• Review and Edit (Optional): You can review the scanned document and make any necessary edits using software like Adobe Acrobat or Microsoft Word.

• Turn Off the Scanner: Once you're done, turn off the scanner hardware to save energy.

Scanning Using CamScanner (Mobile App):

• Install CamScanner: Download and install the CamScanner app from your device's app store.

• Open the App: Launch the CamScanner app on your mobile device.

• Allow Permissions: Ensure the app has the necessary permissions to access your camera and storage.

• Capture the Document: Tap the camera icon to use your phone's camera to capture the document. Make sure the lighting is good, and the document is flat and well-aligned.

• Crop and Adjust: CamScanner will automatically detect the edges of the document. Adjust the cropping if necessary to remove any unwanted areas.

• Enhance and Apply Filters (Optional): You can enhance the scan quality and apply filters if needed to improve readability.

• Save the Scan: Once you're satisfied with the scan, tap the save icon. Choose a location on your device or in the cloud to save the scanned document.

• Edit and Share (Optional): You can edit the scanned document within the app and then share it via email, messaging apps, or cloud storage.

• Exit the App: Close the CamScanner app when you're finished to save battery.
